Ok, I've changed my tone and wording to make my post a little less drama...
hah, and to take the chance to pitter patter on this blog again :p

Happy 3rd Birthday to you, this little blog of mine!
On this very day, you've been online for 1095 days.
I think I've surprised myself, that I've consistently been keeping this alive,
to the point that I'd feel bad if I haven't been updating for some time.
I <3 blogging.

I started perplexinglyyours on a whim really, with no particular purpose.
I just though it'd be nice to have an outlet, a place to write, to remember.
Well over the years, I think this place is less of one where I can truly truly express my thoughts,
but more of one where friends can stay in touch with my life, which is fine and dandy.
It's for them to see, and for me to remember. That's why I make so many collages ;)

But this is it for little perplexinglyyours...
I've thought about it on and off the past 2 years, about stopping completely, about leaving this space
but of course, I've also changed my mind countless times.
Even now, I'm reluctant.
People dislike change, even small ones, and I've grown very used to, and very familiar with my space here.
But sometimes change is neccessary.
I think I need this change, I want to be able to not keep a lock on my thoughts.
This is not very drastic really, sorry if I'm sounding drama mama
but it matters to me, so this is it.
3 years is a good age to stay at, forever young.
Oh, I suspect I'll pop by sometimes, it'll be like visiting an old friend
I'll miss it here.

What's an entry without visuals?
For this last one, it'll be no different...
I've had a lot of alone time recently and last friday evening, on the last day of term, was no different.
I decided to visit the peace boat that's docked in Singapore, where they sell books on board.
It was sunset and really, peaceful and beautiful.

This is perplexinglyyours's swansong.

I've spent this weekend totally being a bum in celebration of the end of the school term
ok, I also did my projects but I didn't have to leave my couch, just type away!

It's not unknown that girls (including me) love to shop, but some of them really don't care about fashion per se.

Can I just say the dresses from Chanel this season are quite divine?
Not for the everyday (or for the less than slim figure really), but I'm liking the style.

I just found out I missed out on an A- by 1.5 marks!
Oh well, such is life...

It's a lazy saturday...
I've been slowly working on my part of the projects (on and off, on and off),
eating (a little of this, a little of that),
and mostly, I'm watching a mini marathon, back to back episodes of....

Fran and the family provides some afternoon comic relief to my report writing...

Finally some cheerier (school) news!
Today marks the last day of the school term :)
While not every single detail has been completed (2 reports & 1 presentation due next week),
at least I don't have to worry about classes. These stuff that's due are quite under control,
so not tooooo much stress there.

The past couple of days went pretty smoothly. Thursday's test was not too bad, I think I did decently ok.
Today, I handed up my last individual assignment, shouldn't do too badly.
I also had my final Italian oral exam earlier. I made a couple of boo-boos, but while not the best,
I did put in effort, so fingers crossed.
Today was also the screening of our CTC project video. Based on the comments given by the guest judge (a creative director), I think our video should be ranked somewhere in the middle...not the best, but definitely not the worst either.
We got an 'A-' for our print ad campaign. The client wasn't particularly keen on our idea (for marine conservation),
but our Prof quite liked it, so the end grade for the campaign is a decent 'A-'.

The overall grade for this course should be out end of next week.

I've already gotten a grade back for another course, ICC. A very average B+...
It was kinda expected so I'll take it :)

And finally, some pictures from slightly over 2 weeks ago, from a lunch to celebrate my sister's (belated) birthday...

That's a bad picture of me but that's the only one I got my bro to take so no choice eh?
Man, I started this entry just after 9pm and it's now already 1120pm!

Progress was slow but I've finally done up my part of the speech for presentation tomorrow...
don't think I'll be studying for my tests tonight, I'm tired!

Well, nothing much but school from 0830 to 1900.
Week 13 blows.

Hopefully there will be more interesting entries soon, like with pictures.
I'll do up a collage from.....ages ago just to liven things up here.
Soon soon, this weekend or something.

phew it's done

Well, working with 5 other girls in two distinct "camps" was not without its challenges,
but our Italian project is complete.
I had thought that we were rather unprepared for filming and
my suggestion for filming to be on Sunday, so as to free up Saturday,
was turned down as others preferred to keep Sunday for other stuff.
But I guess we prevailed and our skit, a parody of 'American Idol', is done.
Hah, I "chickened" out during allocation and chose to be the host
while my other team mates were the contestants.
Let's just say I'm not suited to be in front of the camera.
I'm just glad that it's done...hopefully the prof will like it.

It's crunch time at school next week:
2 tests, 2 presentations and 1 assignment.

In other news, the countdown begins to a change:
8 days left...

This will be the second saturday in a row that my day starts at 830am...
not for leisure but for school work.
Tomorrow will be a rush job for our Italian presentation on Thursday.
Yeah, the coming Thursday.
We just got our topic settled this Tuesday, finished our script this afternoon,
and filming tomorrow
*please let it be done quickly tomorrow*

I decide to write a short entry.
As of today, I have completed two courses, work wise that is, projects & presentations done for those.
Now there's 3 left...with much work to be done.

I also recently got back 2 out of the 3 mid term exams I had a couple of weeks ago (recall Hell week 10)
and I'm happy that I did decently well for both :)
The last one which I didn't get back happens to be the one I'm least confident about though...we'll see.

My days are starting earlier recently, with more work and now, by 9/10-ish, I'm falling alseep in front of the tv.
Which isn't good really cuz I still have work to do...so you see I really shouldn't even be here typing away,
but I decided to sneak one in before crashing properly into slumberland.

Here's something from the last day of October, when I had an inpromptu Halloween date with Ros.

And here's something from even longer, a month ago I think, something that Jane bought for me.

I'm glad to say I dropped the first coins in last week.
Little by little, little by little.

The weekend passed seemed to exist concurrently in two dimensions.
It passed rather quickly yet rather slowly in other sense.
Amidst the two days of 'start at 830am of class + projects',
there's was a spark of relaxation time at my godsis's house,
where they celebrated the birthdays of my niece and nephew.

How will the week go?
One step at a time, one step at a time.
